Music, Inspiration, Baking Escapes

This is the first song I've ever written that was completely from God. Honestly, I give Him all the glory. I sat down at the piano bench, and I don't even remember how it all happened. But it was inspiration straight from God. Since then this song has ministered to me on many a sad or lonely night. And, even without the lyrics, has done the same for others. Praise God!

God I'm crying out tonight,
'Cause I just can't fight this fight
I have tried this on my own,
And i can't stand one more blow.

So I'm falling on my knees.
I beg You, Savior, Please!
Bring me back to solid ground;
Plant my feet where love abounds,
"Cause i know in You I'm found.

Some say that You don't care,
But You hear my every prayer.
And though sometimes I go astray,
And sometimes I fade away,

I am falling on my knees.
I beg You, Savior, Please!
Bring me back to solid ground;
Plant my feet where love abounds,
"Cause i know in You I'm found.

Hello world! Well, this is scary for me, but here goes nothing :) I thought tonight I'd share a few of the songs I have been working on the past few months. Someday I hope to record them with one of my close friends whose voice is, shall we say, a bit more pleasing to the ear than mine. God has gifted me with the ability to write what I'm feeling, and my prayer is that these songs will be able to reach the depths of your heart and draw you closer to God. Hope every one's night is beautiful!
